Frequently Asked Questions about The Woodshed

  • What is The Woodshed at Nate's Place?

We are an elevated, intimate, house concert experience that happens once a month. Imagine sitting and hearing your favorite artists in the comfort of your living room, but having that live show experience.

  • Where is the Woodshed at Nate's Place?

We host our shows at a private residence in the Canton neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. Because it is a private residence, we don’t post the full address on our website, but an email is sent to each of our attendees after they make their reservation showing the full address.

  • Is there seating for the show?

Yes, there is plenty of seating, up to about 50/55 people. After that, we have standing room for our remaining few guests, so we recommend coming as close to when we open as possible.

  • Is there food and something to drink at the show?

Yes! Every show is catered from a different local restaurant or caterer, and we have a bar stocked with beer and wine, as well as soft drinks and water. All of this is included in your reservation, but we do recommend bringing some cash with you to tip our bartender!

  • Do we need to bring any cash?

We recommend bringing some cash on hand with you for a few reasons. 1) to take care of the bartender. 2) to buy any and all merchandise to support the artists! 3) if you’d like to donate to the future of The Woodshed, we always keep a bucket by the door :)

  • Where should we park?

The Canton neighborhood is mostly street parking, so we recommend our guests ride-share somehow, either a carpool with other guests, or Uber/Lyft. There is usually parking to be found within a 3-4 block radius.
